"If it comes down to it, let Potter die."

Ron almost shoved the Slytherin away and stood up. Almost. "You know I can't do that."

Draco sighed and then glared. "I had to try."

This time, Ron really did stand up but was pulled back down by the hissing blond.

Draco placed his index finger on Ron's lips, "Shut up for a second and listen to me."

"Heroes die, Weasley."

A warm hand rested on Draco's wrist before his silencing finger was pushed back down.

"Good thing I'm just a sidekick."
