Part One

"Fire burns, water comes,
You cool me down."

We are two different elements that, despite everything, fit together perfectly. I am fire and you are water. No, you are cooler than that. Colder, deliciously so. I am fire and you are ice. Fire and Ice. When we meet, sparks fly and steam rises. And you know I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I know I have a hot temper, hot enough to match my blazing hair. I know I am quick to grow angry but one touch from your icy fingertips and I cool instantly. When you kiss my throat and make me shiver, you bring me back to earth and into your arms. Blissfully chilled and wholly yours.

Part Two

Before you found me I was cold. Frozen from the inside out. But your warmth enveloped me, enclosed me and burned me up with a desire I had never known.

I am fascinated by the heat that laces your skin. I love the way ice cubes that stay solid at my touch, melt on your fiery freckled stomach and leave a trail of silvery water in their wake. And I know you love the way that I stare as it slowly shimmers into nothing, the way that I caress our body and draw beautiful moans from your lips.

You are fire and I am ice. I melt at your burning touch.

Part Three

"You know you are so good for me."

As we lie side by side, bodies pressed close together in a haze of blissful perfection, we know that this is right. Eyes lock, silver grey on deep blue, and lips meet in passionate kisses.

Our fingers lace together, seeking more. Our breathing is still ragged, our foreheads touching. We need no words. Burning up, cooling down, we balance each other out. Harmony. Completeness. Fire and Ice.
